Financial strength ͸͸ We continued to see positive financial performance for the year, and with 452 days of cash on hand, Cass Regional is one of the most financially strong critical- access hospitals in the state. ͸͸ We invested nearly $2.15 million in facilities and new and replacement equipment. ͸͸ We donated $131,845 to worthy causes throughout the communities we serve. ͸͸ We provided nearly $1.38 million in charity care. We completed a Community Health Needs Assessment Provided $1.38 million in charity care Customer service ͸͸ Our patient satisfaction score, as measured by overall rating of care, doubled for our outpatient test and treatment services over the prior year. ͸͸ The Auxiliary’s Hospitality Cart provided refreshments totaling more than $2,326 to patients and visitors to make visits to the Cass Regional campus more enjoyable. ͸͸ Our Auxiliary gave our patients nearly 1,300 comfort items, including cough pillows, rice bags, walker caddy bags, lap throws, shawls and hats as part of the Helping Hands Project. The items were made and donated by several groups and individuals from the region.
