These jobs result in approximately $32 million in annual salaries and benefits that are re-invested locally through the residents who live and shop in our area communities. w w Our overall employee engagement survey score rose five percentage points over 2017 and placed Cass Regional in the top 10 of all health care facilities that participated in the national survey. w w At our annual Employee Appreciation Dinner in April, we honored 54 employees for their combined 505 years of service to the organization. w w We welcomed Jerry Johnson to the board of trustees in April, following his election to the board by the citizens of Cass County. w w Cass Regional Medical Center Foundation awarded $12,000 in scholarships to seven students from Cass County who are pursuing careers and/or continuing education in health care, and our Auxiliary awarded a $1,500 scholarship to a Cass County resident who is pursuing education in a health-related field. w w Our Auxiliary members donated nearly 11,700 hours of service, helping patients, visitors and staff in several areas of the organization. w w Our Patient Assistance Fund, which is made possible by donations to Cass Regional Medical Center Foundation, provided more than $9,000 in assistance to 138 patients. For more than 50 years, Cass Regional Medical Center has proudly been “Here for Your Health,” serving the residents of Cass County and the surrounding areas. We are pleased to share our 2018 Community Benefit Report, which highlights some of the advancements we made last year associated with our five operational Pillars of Success: People , Quality , Customer Service , Growth and Financial Strength .
